August 2002
Cron and Elizabeth Gibson moved to Rochester from Ithaca, NY and joined three families to pray, plan, and pursue God for the beginnings of Grace Church.
October 2005
Grace Church was established as a PCA Church with Cron Gibson as pastor.
September 2007
The members of Grace Church voted to call Rev. Marc Swan as its next pastor. Marc, his wife Wendy, and their four children moved to Rochester from Michigan.
January 2012
Through the sacrificial giving of members and friends, Grace Church purchased the property at 441 Parsells Avenue in Rochester and began the process of establishing 441 Ministries under the direction of Pastoral Intern Chris Holdridge. Chris, his family, and a dedicated core of Grace families had been faithfully ministering in the Beechwood Neighborhood for several years.
April 2015
Through the sacrificial giving of members and friends, Grace Church purchased the property at 805 Blossom Road in Rochester. The first worship service in the new facility was held on June 7.
October 2015
A special worship service was held to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the church. The Rev. Steve Froehlich, pastor of New Life Presbyterian Church in Ithaca, was invited to speak. Rev. Froehlich and members of New Life had played an instrumental role in the establishment of Grace Church.
May 2016
A group of 20 members from Grace together with their children were commissioned with prayer to plant New City Fellowship in the Beechwood neighborhood of Rochester under the leadership of the newly ordained Rev. Chris Holdridge. The church currently meets at the Community Place of Greater Rochester.
